The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon and 1/2 Marathon in San Antonio is one of the most exciting races in Texas.  We are talking about 70 bands and 40 cheerleading teams rooting you along the entire course, and you know Austinites love their music, followed by a headliner at a post-race concert.  The event occurs Sunday November 16, 2008 during the perfect running weather (mid 60’s), and the course is flat, fast, and scenic, no hill country, I promise!  I practice what I preach and signed up for the Half Marathon which is a personal goal of mine to complete.  Read more about the race here and register here.  It’s not too late to start training for the half marathon now, register and start following the training guide today!
