Mmmpanadas is a brand new business housed in a red truck on 5th & Brazos in downtown Austin, serving what else but homemade empanadas ($3.25/each).  This is quite dangerous since this is across from my office!  The menu covers breakfast, lunch/dinner, and dessert.  I’m sure I will be back for a S’more, a cinnamon coated empanada chalk full of creamy marshmallows and delectable chocolate when my afternoon sweet tooth hits!  The most popular item is the Green Chile Chicken empanada and for the vegetarians out there, the Spinach Mushroom empanada was amazing.  Next time you are driving down 5th St., pull over when you spot the big red truck and grab yourself a snack!
