Red House Lounge is a bar located behind Stortini on Manor Rd.’s restaurant row.  Rest in Peace Stortini but I couldn’t be happier that your pizza will live on at Red House Lounge.  This pizza is a force to be reckoned with and is half price 5-7pm daily.  The Red House Lounge’s website shows a full menu of bar grub like burgers and nachos but every time I have been there, only Stortini’s Italian menu was handed to us so not sure what that is about.  It seems Stortini’s spot is doomed for failure, anyone remember the best BBQ join in Austin previously housed there, John Mueller’s?  Stortini will become a special events spot.  Other closures include Cafe 909 in Marble Falls and Bellisimo in the old Noodleism spot but Chinatown will open in it’s place.
