Mekong River is my favorite spot for Vietnamese and Thai cuisine.  Located in downtown Austin on 6th St. Even when this place is packed at lunch/dinner service, seating is prompt and the food comes out super quick, not to mention it’s cheap!  This is the spot for good Drunken Chicken, Pad Thai, and Satay.  One question, the menu describes one item as ‘toothsome’, what does this mean?

the college slacker says: Would rather go to Madame Mam’s, more convienent across from campus.  But when I like to hit up Buffalo Billiards on dirty 6th, this is my spot before!
