Flip Happy Crepes brings a little bit of France to Texas!  Austin Chronicle has awarded this spot ‘Best Crepes This Side of Paris.’  Housed in a trailer in South Austin, Flip Happy Crepes has been serving breakfast, lunch, and dessert to Austinites since May.  This foodie haven is also on the Food Network radar.  Bobby Flay featured Flip Happy on a episode of ‘Throwdown With Bobby Flay.’  The food comes out at a leisurely pace, but between the people watching and game offerings (they have board games and cards for borrow), the time will fly by.  But really, if you have a tight lunch break or want a quick breakfast, then your best bet is to call in an order.  The menu is stellar and everything is under $8, and numerous daily specials are offered daily.  BYOB & you can walk next door to Thom’s Market to purchase wine & beer.  FYI: Closed for the holidays until Jan. 2nd, be sure to check their website before you visit Flip Happy Crepes, some days they decide not to open or close early.  Credit Cards are NOT accepted!

the college slacker says:  I never had a crepe before I came here and this is awesome, it’s like a burrito only with better bread!  I also love any place with  Mexican Coke.

the spoiled brat says: Daily specials are amazing, a whipped peanut butter dessert crepe with dark chocolate drizzled on top?  Yes, please!
