Dirty Dog is a self-serve dog wash with 3 locations around Austin.  This is definitely a great idea for big dogs so you don’t have to chase them around the yard with a hose but I think little dogs are better off in a shower.  It’s sad seeing them tied up and soaking wet.  They provide tearless shampoo, conditioner, towels, brushes, hair dryers, warm water, raised tubs, aprons, nail clippers, ear wash, grooming tables, and stairs for large dogs.  I paid about $14 for cleaning Lila myself at Dirty Dog to give you an idea of price.  Tuesday night there is ‘happy hour’ for $2 off washes from 5-8pm.  Full serve is also available for baths, furminator, and grooming.
