There’s a new player at the South Austin Trailer Park Eatery. Man Bites Dog serves dogs, dogs, and more dogs. Pick from the special dog menu or create your own, the choices are endless. This is probably the tastiest and cheapest meal I’ve had in ages. The bun is outstanding bread, you can tell the meat is cooked fresh to order, and the toppings give it something special. I highly highly recommend this place. I hope this place survives, Torchy’s always has the longest lines and the other trailers stand idle. We already lost Shuggies, don’t let it happen to Man Bites Dog!

i’m mostly vegetarian, but sometimes…and this is embarrassing…i really crave hot dogs. i have to visit this place.

I am the same way about hot dogs! I have been to Frank’s and while its tasty, I always walk out of there not feeling my best. Man Bites Dog is a little easier to digest and the bread is ridiculously good.

Maggie,
Thanks for the kind words, I’m glad you liked the dogs. To me, our bread is a big part of what makes us special. The buns are actually kolache buns made every couple of days by the Kolache Shoppe on north Burnet.
We hope to see you back to try more dogs.
Thanks
Jeremiah

Once you said Kolache bread, my mouth started to water…I’m definitely eating there for dinner!
