Another year, another list. The following restaurants will be open for business on Christmas Day, (please add in the comment section if you know of additional places) the pickings are slim!:
Cedar Door, Chinatown, Chon Som, El Arroyo, European Bistro, First Chinese Barbecue, Hill Country Dining Room, Katz’s Deli, Lakeway Resort and Spa, Liberty Tavern, Manny Hatten’s, McCormick and Schmick’s, Pluckers, Shanghai, Thai Spoon, The Veranda, Threadgill’s, and Trio at the Four Seasons.
As always, call for hours, each establishment varies!

Sushi Japon on IH35 and 290 is open Christmas Day!

I live in Santa Fe NM, but will be visiting my adult sons in Austin for Christmas; I’m so glad to find your list of restaurants open on Christmas Day! Thanks!

McCormick and Schmick’s will be open also at both locations.

The Chupacabra Cantina…Texmex and and Gourmet Burgers is open on 6th and Trinity..They even have a Goat Burger that is Delicious..also try the Mexican burger.a third of a pond patty topped with pulled pork a chipotle mayo with pinapple pico de gallo.

Nomad Bar is open at six pm
and they serve food!
