Finally the sun is out in Austin and I had to hope on a flight for wet rainy St. Louis.  Go figure!  Garrido’s is downtown Austin’s best Modern Mexican restaurant as I first wrote about here.  Chef Garrido uses authentic recipes passed down from his grandmother using only fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients.  Best seat in the house is anywhere on the patio overlooking Shoal Creek.  Go today and definitely order the oyster appetizer and zucchini cake dessert.  Out of this world!  No posts until Wednesday the 30th, happy holidays!
