Juan in a Million is my favorite stop on the way to Austin Bergstrom Airport for a last meal in town before a flight.  Open since 1981, owner Juan has been shaking hands and serving traditional Mexican food in Austin’s East side.  Cheap, delicious, and friendly, are a few of the reasons to check out this Austin institution.  Juan in a Million recently reached a national audience when it was featured on the Travel Channel’s Man vs Food.  Host Adam Richman attempted to eat 7 Don Juans.  Needless to say he threw up the white flag in defeat!

The Don Juan, only $3.25 and I promise you won’t finish this.  A pile of potatoes, bacon, eggs, and cheese, with tortillas.

Unfortunately we were there before Juan usually makes it in so no handshake after our meal!

Complimentary chips & salsa, an Austin staple

No frills decor, rickety chairs and tables.  Seat yourself in one of the many rooms.

Adam Richman threw up the white flag when he tried to eat 8 Don Juans, yuck!
