Sushi Zushi is Austin’s newest sushi restaurant I first wrote about here.  Whenever I’m asked by friends to go, the amazing dynamite mussels pop into my head.  The menu is ginormous, good luck picking out rolls!  They offer delivery, but there is plenty of free parking inside the garage behind the building.  I like this San Antonio transplant, it gives Piranha Sushi a run for their money.

Beef Carpaccio.  I would not order this plate of meat again.  Kinda tasteless.

I’m not going to lie – everytime I go to Sushi Zushi I leave with the same feeling: that was way too expensive and not really worth it. Also, it weirds me out that 90% of their rolls are fried. I mean what is under that tempura you are trying to hide?? I like sushi because its a delicious, healthy treat and Sushi Zushi misses the mark for me. And $14 for a lunch special? That isn’t very special to me!
