my son and I were visiting from Houston and just happened upon Man Bites Dog. He actually tried a new dog (he is usually a plain dog kinda boy) but he was raving about how good it was so I have to give props for winning his heart. I loved the bread…and having a real beef dog makes all the difference in the world. We came around early evening and the lights were on in the trees, fire pit going and candles on the tables…..it was great to see children playing and dogs hanging out with their families….I will def. visit again next time I’m strolling through.

All in all a great experience!

Driskill Grill & Chef Jonathan Gelman are on their game, wow what an incredible dinner my husband and i had. They also run the ARW menu on friday and saturday during ARW. Gelman’s Cuisine reigns supreme for sure, talk about Austin’s Top Chef.

I’m glad to know I’m not the only one in love with their mustard blend! I had to stop myself from buying a jar when I would go in for a sandwich.. it was getting ridiculous.

I highly recommend Blue Dahlia. The food and atmosphere are both awesome. I have been to restaurants in Rome, Bern, Barcelona and Paris. Blue Dahlia can hang with most of them.

Your photos are so great. I’ve been inspired to revisit restaurants based on your visual representation of different dishes. I’ve become really lax about taking pictures, because either I forget or I get intimidated by how the restaurant staff might react. What’s your general m.o.? Do you identify yourself as a blogger or do you go all stealth and covert? Just curious, because whatever you’re doing, it’s working!

Had an excellent restaurant week dinner at Aquarelle last night. The food was wonderful, the wine options paired nicely and the price per glass didn’t break the bank.
